London Health Board partners have published Better Health for London: One Year On – celebrating progress on London’s blueprint towards becoming a healthier city. This taps into a wider theme of encouraging Londoners to take more responsibility for their own health and wellbeing and to acknowledge that they play a huge role in being able to prevent the onset of some long term conditions like type two diabetes through diet and exercise.
Gateway provides primary, specialty and urgent care coverage to uninsured adults in St. Louis City and County, aged 19-64, through a network of community providers and is sponsored by the Missouri Department of Social Services in partnership with the St. Louis Regional Health Commission.
The mission of The Commonwealth Fund is to promote a high-performing health care system that achieves better access, improved quality, and greater efficiency, particularly for society’s most vulnerable, including low-income people, the uninsured, minority Americans, young children, and elderly adults.
In addition to the strong theme of mental health across the life-course, taking every opportunity to step in early and prevent the development of mental health problems, the need to improve the mental health knowledge and literacy of the entire public service workforce is highlighted.
